Why join:

With climate change high on the agenda Green-Works has an accredited scheme giving Business Movers and Suppliers the opportunity to broaden the disposal options offered to their clients. With year on year large increases in the landfill tax, organisations will be encouraged to examine sustainable disposal options. This is on top of the Government's launch of the Climate Change bill setting tough carbon emissions targets enshrined in law.

• Green-Works re-uses, re-manufactures or recycles all the furniture you give us - from desks to filing cabinets, from chairs to hat stands - whatever their condition.
• Re-use - schools, charities, community groups, start up and expanding businesses get access to a continuous source of affordable, quality furniture
• Re-manufacture - we transform the wood from desk tops and cupboards into a range of new products
• Recycle - what Green-Works cannot re-use or remanufacture is broken down for recycling.
• Green-Works donates furniture for international charitable projects and for design projects here in the UK
• Green-Works demonstrates it's strong social ethos by employing a high percentage of individuals from socially disadvantaged backgrounds

 

Terms and Conditions of Business for Associates' Scheme

Service and Pricing:

• The Associates' Scheme is designed to capture the volumes offurniture for which your company is to be invoiced
• Green-Works will offer a 7.5% discount against non-member reception rates
• Invoices are raised on a monthly basis and our payment terms are 30 days

In return Green-Works can:

• Provide a Certificate of Accreditation
• Supply you with marketing literature promoting the environmental and social benefits of this disposal option
• Present to your sales team and give pointers on how to sell the service to your clients if required
• Include your company in the list of associates on our web site and allow you to display the GW association on your web site with a reciprocal link to boost your profile
• Provide regular updates on Green-Works' environmental and social activities
• Co-ordinate visits to our re-use / recycle facilities for you and / or your clients

Member obligations:

We ask for:-

• An annual membership fee of £1500
• A copy of your Waste Carrier's Licence (or where you sub contract carriage completion of the Waiver Form attached)
• A copy of your Public Liability Insurance
• Acceptance of Green-Works' standard Terms of Business which will be assumed upon receipt of invoice payment
