GreenWorks is dedicated to helping the environment by diverting large quantities of redundant office and educational furniture from landfill with the prime aim of ‘re-use’. As part of the London Re-use Network which is made up of local charities and not for profit organizations that work together to deliver reuse and repair services, GreenWorks collects from very large office blocks to single office suites and provides second hand quality re-use furniture to charities, community and educational groups and small business via the network.

Case Study

In 2010 GreenWorks Group took delivery of our largest primary school clearance working with one of our partners Transformations Unlimited.

One week later a South London school suffered extensive fire damage during renovation works and the facilities management team via the local authority came knocking on Green-Works door as a company that may be able to help get the school back open.

Combined with our own, we gathered the required stock from our franchise partners around the country - Kibbleworks in Paisley Scotland, Ct Office in Bilston Wolverhampton and First Fruit in Silvertown, East London.

In just 5 days we delivered nearly 1000 items of furniture to the school including making over 60 items from our on-site joinery department and our biggest ever retail order saving the school around £75,000 on the price and 12 weeks on delivery time!
