GreenWorks is dedicated to helping the environment by diverting large quantities of redundant office and educational furniture from landfill with the prime aim of ‘re-use’. As part of the London Re-use Network which is made up of local charities and not for profit organizations that work together to deliver reuse and repair services, GreenWorks collects from very large office blocks to single office suites and provides second hand quality re-use furniture to charities, community and educational groups and small business via the network.

What our customers say

"We are delighted to have used a community based project to refit our office. GreenWorks does great stuff recycling and reusing old office furniture into quality new furniture and we want to put our money where our mouth is. Youre also members of ours and we knew we would be getting an excellent product while also supporting our network. The desks are really sturdy and look quite nice. It was a pleasure doing business with GreenWorks. Well definitely be recommending them to our associates."
Jennifer Gwiazdowski, Events & Marketing Co-ordinator LCRN

"I am pleased to confirm that we are very satisfied with your services. We asked you to supply our college 45 desks with modifications according to our requirements. These were specially modified with highest craftmanship and we were delivered what we asked for, also in the specified time. I highly recommend all to use the services of GreenWorks. I am personally thankful to Mr Don Carter and other staff for advising and guiding me as they are very professional and welcoming. I would think and prefer of GreenWorks for all future Furniture requirements."
Dr Shashi Mohan Sharma Director & Principal, Hahnemann College of Homeopathy

"My office is a typical School Office, small cramped, too much paperwork, too many people and awful, old impractical furniture. GreenWorks was the answer to my dreams of executive class or the nearest I'll ever get to that! Its a great way to save precious resources and get to where its most needed at such a reasonable cost. Val Hudson of De Lucy Primary School in Greenwich It was great for our Sixth Form Council to be able to work with GreenWorks on the creation of a new Sixth Form Common Room area. The pupils were very aware of the environmental benefits of working with GreenWorks and were, of course, delighted with the money they were able to save by working with them."
Mill Hill School, London

"We were running a programme of replacing old computers and furniture within the school and had already managed to ship a few computers out to African countries via a contact one of the members of staff had. However, when it came to shipping large amounts of furniture this contact was not able to help us with the volume we had so we contacted GreenWorks. One of the most important things to us as a Christian school is that we help others as much as we are able and sending furniture or equipment that still had a working life to other countries or schools to support other children is one way we can do that. Recycling has to be what we teach our children today or they will soon find that this planet we live on cannot continue to sustain a culture of use and just throw away. Like many other schools we are moving towards becoming greener and recycling of all items however small can only help towards that aim."
David Weatherstone, Ashford Christ Church School

"GreenWorks is a fantastic organisation, anyone that deals with waste like that. The furniture was such great quality and the service was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable They provided protective materials for transportation as we forgot to take any and we even got a cup of tea!"

"Thank you for all your help in re-furbishing our office. As you know, we are a smallish charity working specifically within the armed forces and it was great to be able to obtain good quality furniture from Green Works at a reasonable price. Our offices now look very modern with matching 'new' furniture, compared to the mish-mash of cast-offs that we previously had. Thank you for your suggestions and your help on my visits to you as a 'personal shopper'! I would have no hesitation in recommending GreenWorks to other organisations similar to ours on limited budgets."
Armed Forces Christian Union Alan Wallis, Membership Development Officer

"My shop is quite small and I wanted to maximise the space by filling a whole wall with the mini cubes for the 'Haberdashery' department (knitting + sewing supplies) The production time was really quick and efficient and delivery was organised to coincide with completion of other work being done in the shop. The make-over has had a huge impact on my business, trade has increased and I think the products are really well displayed."

"I just wanted to say a big thank you for springing into action regarding my request for chairs. We are delighted with the quality and condition of the furniture.
