GreenWorks is dedicated to helping the environment by diverting large quantities of redundant office and educational furniture from landfill with the prime aim of ‘re-use’. As part of the London Re-use Network which is made up of local charities and not for profit organizations that work together to deliver reuse and repair services, GreenWorks collects from very large office blocks to single office suites and provides second hand quality re-use furniture to charities, community and educational groups and small business via the network.

Green-Works celebrates its 10th Birthday

Over the past 10 years we have saved 55,000 tonnes of carbon by our customers not purchasing new office furniture but going the green reuse route. We have helped over 800 young people into jobs. We have collected several prestigious awards along the way - most notibly the Qeens Award in 2008 and the Social Enterprise mark in 2010.

On the 17th June we had our franchisees and partners together for a small party to celebrate this landmark acheivement. We even baked a Green-Works cake and teamed up with the renound Ace Cafe for an environmental exhibition on the same day where world beating companies put on show their latest green products.

A fantastic day was had by all but there might have been just a few pain killers used the next day - but party we did!
