Minister for Waste - Lord Henley

8 September 2010

Lord Henley is due at our Wembley warehouse today

Mid 2010 marks the move to a new and exciting era. We know the recession is not over and we've had to respond to a falling price market but we still hold dear our core values and we deliver what we say we will do when so many around cut corners.

Today, Lord Henley the Minister for Waste and Recycling is at our Wembley warehouse with a small team to see for himself why we are a successful Social Enterprise and what makes us tick. He's going to see the two sides of the enterprise - the waste commercial furnture coming in from our corporate clients, how we process it, select the best items for resale, select the next set of items for remanufacture in our joinery department and then recycle the remainder.

He is meeting all the team and talking to each team member who has their part to play. And for the occasion we have contructed a stage set to illustrate the core values and acheivements we stand for.

Lord Henley and his team were on site for a little under 90 minutes and left very excited and commited to raising the profile of commercial waste with the governement.

Photo's and comment will follow and will be posted on our website.
